| Evangelos leads technology strategy and execution, with a strong focus on business impact, in the areas of virtualization, cloud computing, and large-scale hosting. His areas of interest include massive-scale provisioning, predictive monitoring, scalable storage for virtualization, and operational tooling that allows efficiently managing a global cloud environment.
He has pioneered the field of cloud computing, devising one of the first blueprints for a public cloud computing platform as part of the XenoServers project, which he led. He is the author of three patents and several peer-reviewed publications, which have been cited more than 450 times. He has served as a program committee member and reviewer in numerous top conferences and journals.
Before joining Morgan Stanley, Evangelos was a Senior Research Scientist at T-Labs. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, Computer Laboratory. He is currently
pursuing a part-time Masters in Finance at London Business School.
